Can someone translate this engine code

I have a 1978 corvette L82 350. I bought it two weeks ago and it suppose to be original. the first letter I think is O or a C. Not sure. Here goes O6F462547 V0608TXD. Thank you for any information.

It's a 165 HP engine out of a light duty '76 truck.

Hi Joe,
The engine stamp is decoded as:
V= the plant the engine was assembled in…. Flint
0608= the date the engine was assembled…. June 8th.
TXD= the broadcast code, which is the configuration it was built in, and it's application…. TXD doesn't appear to be an engine used in a Corvette.
