While I don't envy your broken leg... I haven't driven my '69 in 4 years during my slow restomod process. I have a feeling it takes even longer for some!

Plus you have all that nice warm weather where you're at? Some of us are snowed in 6mo out of the year! That drives many crazy.

Go give your car a nice wax over the healing period when you're able and it'll be ready for you soon enough.

I'll take the cold weather here 4 months out of the year than deal with the spiders they get down under.

Sorry about the leg, but here nice cars get stored for 5-6 months every year during winter. That said, I can have some empathy for your leg pain, but none for you not driving your Corvette...

Sorry to hear about your leg... but try buying your first car and work on it for an entire year without turning the key and putting it into drive. Still have a few months to wait because of the weather too.

I hope your leg gets back to "perfect" for the clutch (or gas pedal).

Send us some pics while your are recuperating.

Good luck on the recovery. Find some small projects you can do on the vette with your broken leg and start working on it, it will make you feel better that you are getting something done.

I will be in the same boat in a month as I am having surgery on my ankle. I won't be driving until sometime in June/ July. That leaves my Corvette and Jeep in the garage until then. At least most of it is happening during the winter so I am only going to miss 2 months of the season.

My mind is already working on how to drive the manual trans Jeep with my left leg only--since it already has a hand throttle.

Speedy recovery with your leg. Get a trusted friend to drive you in your Corvette, to ease the pain. Lou.
