Broken Stud on 77 Heater Box
I have a 77 with A/C. The heater core box has 3 bolts and 1 stud that goes through the firewall with a nut on the engine side. The stud twisted off when removing. I've seen the heater box studs with the 2 rivet holes in parts catalogs. From what I understand, those are what was used on cars without A/C. That is a different design from the stud that came on the A/C box but will it work as a replacement for this one, or is the stud I'm looking for available? I haven't found it in a catalog yet.
