Replacement for PF25
I had not idea that there is no more PF25. I have been using the ones I had on the shelf. What is everyone using for a replacement. It seem the PF454 is a bit short and I like the original look of the AC Delco

AC filters are not the same premium filters they once were, buy a WIX (or other premium filter) and paint it.

Orielly still shows to have PF25, but for $27.!!
Same filter @ rockauto, is about $4..?
get a wix 51069. about $7. readily available, much better filter..
paint it blue for oem look....

The 73-81 blue AC Delco PF25 Duraguard filter, is no longer available.
The PF454 is the current service replacement for the PF25. There is also a longer replacement filter, the PF1218. This filter is just a little longer than the original PF 25, at about 4 1/4" long.
This is what AC Delco calls their Classic PF25. It is white, with a the round red AC logo, and blue stripes and instructions silk screened on, as original. This is the exact correct PF25 filter for 70-72 Corvettes. $27 is the list, but you can usually find it for less.
Delco also offers the 68-69 PF29 filter, in their Classic line. It's also white with red silk screened AC logos and blue stripes and instructions. The PF 29 lists for around $35.

Quit throwing money at an old 'standard' filter. Go to NAPA and buy their 'Gold' filter for your engine. It is made by WIX. Or, just buy a WIX filter for it. Much better quality for reasonable money.

I have the big motor though
Filter is the most important item on your motor.
Why install 30 y/o paper?
If it sits in a museum wo/o fluids I'd say ok on the correct filter.
If it moves and drives don't play around when it comes to filtration.
AC43 plugs keep it nostalgic enough for me
Oh and Wix air filter too.
I haven't had anybody say oh a wix filter thats incorrect.
