I am looking for replacement ball joints for my 76. I have seen standard and heavy duty ones listed in our vendor catalogs.
Moog K6034 or K6035 seem to be the normal ones but I don't see a Heavy duty one listed.
A local Blue and Yellow log store quoted me 75.ea on the uppers and 43.ea for the lowers but they are only standard duty ones.

You can't go wrong with Moog IMO. Rockauto has them for less than $15 a pop. I don't know what installed prices would be.
be careful on this as just because moog is written on the box it may not be a moog joint.the moog joints i bought were not marked moog on the joint and one shipped turned out to be a cheap knockoff.i have photos of this but i am at work now and don't have access to them now.
there was a thread somewhere by Gary (GTR1999) about real Moog ball joints, all I remember is the good ones have a tall top hat on the uppers and maybe a number stamped into the end of the stud on the lowers, be careful there is lots of junk out there
I just received 2 upper and 2 lower Moog ball joints from Amazon, all 4 were the real deal genuine Moog. But you should always inspect them to make sure.

I'll repeat the warning to make sure you've got quality parts. This was maybe six years ago, I bought suspension parts from a well known Corvette vendor...Including unbranded ball joints....Two or three years later, the car had still not been on the road, and the rubber boots had disintegrated! I still had the original Delco ball joints that I had removed, and their rubber boots would have been fine, except that I had nicked them with the ball joint removal tool. Since my 68 was a very low mileage car.. 68,000 miles, I probably should have kept the original Delco's.
so the Ball Joints I ordered from Amazon came in on Saturday...just the lowers so far. They are genuine MOOG parts the numbers on them identify that. They are cheaper than Rock Auto with the free shipping.
