72 shifter console

Does the screw for the radio side access panel go into the support on the hump that the relay screws to? The AIM seems to have two screws using the same hole in the console support brace.

Hi 72,
I looked in my 71 AIM for the drawing you described but don't see it.
In 71 the wiper relay mounts to the top of the console bracket.
There are 2 holes on the side of the bracket….. 1 for the side of the console screw and 1 for the little filler panel.
Maybe 72 is different?

In pictures 1 and 2, is that a rivet or the console screw?

It's a screw with a small captive flat washer.

Thanks Alan. The console still needs to come up 1/2 inch to aline the holes but at least I know what I am trying to accomplish.
