His,
Richard Fortier sells reproduction tips that he's had made.
They're really quite close to the originals in the way the material was cut, formed, welded, prepped, and plated.
They are not cheap but are VERY nice if you're interested in a tip with a pretty much original appearance. (If anything they're still just 'a bit' too nice.)
I don't know if he sells singles.

Regards,
Alan

Thank You Allen
I am looking for the bezel, not the tip
Also I feel an original will have the proper fit
My search continues

Hi s,
The reproduction bezels, (cast, chrome plated, not ss) are very nice.
There are certainly lots of originals that need to be re-plated available as Revi's link indicates.
I put the reproductions on my 71 because they fit better than the originals which seemed to have 'warped' a bit.
Regards,
Alan

Thank You Allen and Revi
The body shop over the winter used an original to adjust the fit, that's why they didn't want a made one
Revi, Thank You
The body shop will order it from ebay(it is the new one with the gm box in the pic)
If it has to go to the chrome then such is life, at least it will fit correctly
Thank You Everyone!!

I cannot wait to get the car out of the booth, reassembled, and back on the road
Should be another 3 weeks to finish
4 months of sanding and body work, the lines look amazing now!!
