Alternator/Generator Upper Bracket

Alternator/Generator Upper Bracket
I have checked my AIM manuals for 1969 through 1978 and I cannot seem to confirm if the alternator, or generator as they call it in the early years, upper bracket is the same or not through the years. Anybody out there know the differences?

Do your AIMs from year to year show the same part number? The Parts and Illustrations Catalogue shows #3826928 fairly generic through 74. #460754 for 75-82 without the big alternator. #14015511 75-82 with the big alternator.

The AIM manuals have changes in 76 and again in 77. The 77 and 78 share the same part number but earlier years are similar but not the same as the 77.
Even the after market sales companies have different styles for different years so I trust they are not forward or backward compatible.
