Hello, my 75 needs a new Cam and I was going to get new heads as well but plans changed for now and was wondering if XE 268H Cam would work with my 882 heads that had been rebuilt before I got the car and the same Cam work with 180 64cc heads at a later date. Thanks Zapparex
You should be fine with that lift on that cam with the stock heads. But you will likely need springs.
I'm doing heads and cam next as well. But I'm waiting to save for the heads. I don't wanna tear it down twice. Also, 64cc heads could put your compression up too much. If you know the heads you want, call comp cams and tell them what you have, what you want, and they will match you up with the right cam choices.

I have been looking and on the rebuild sheet it says it has vs739r valve spring on those heads also had kc1013r cam/lifter kit put in but the cam is gone, do to synthetic oil or so I've heard. lifters should be ok still, I hope

Anytime you change the cam you need to change lifters and make sure the valve springs match the camshaft.
