Front Swaybar Upside Down?

Front Swaybar Upside Down?
Searched archives, and found that the ends should be pointing up...mine seems to be this way, but the poly bushings on top are not seating straight, and have rotted. This was from PO, and bar is 7/8 of unknown origin.
I swapped bushings with new, and even with car on the ground, bushes are still not seating. This means bar needs to be reversed?

Hi m,
I believe the sway bar should slope down as it passes through the bushing and continues across the front of the frame.
This puts the eyelet level as the link passes through it.
