Default WOW That's lookin' good!

Tell us how you did it.
I would like the rear emblem to light up red, then it could be a third brake light.

Very cool. These days, running with blue lights will get a person stopped since cops went to blue emergency lights I agree red in the back would be a thing as well as white in the front.

G'day Danny,
I like the rear backlit badge but I think the front is a little disappointing.

Just be careful about the rules of the road. A friend got pulled over after leaving a car cruise. He has blue lights near the wheels and forgot to turn them off. Apparently this was such a egregious act that a 2nd police car boxed him in. They kept him there for about 20 minutes and released him once he hit the switch to turn them off. One cop did say "I can have your car towed".

Thanks guys I appreciate the input. I was originally hoping to have the red in there as well to come on as I hit the brakes but there was just not enough room. I took a lot of pics so I will try to do a write up on it possibly tomorrow

I don't know who the wouldn't be some cars come with them from thom the factory like one of the new Mercedes and I think one of the scion's have side badges. I guess the only thing I could have any problem with is the fact that they are blue but I'll worry about that if that time comes. Eventually I'm going to paint the car blue do that's why I decided to go with it from the beginning

The requirements for "lights" on a motor vehicle should be online with your state's BMV website.

Pretty cool, I did something like this for a buddies mini truck years ago...
I am a real geek when it comes to cool lighting always doing some custom something with LEDs so I keep up on laws, years ago When all the cats wanted neon on cars many states had to re open books with old laws on lighting, some states got strict. my trike looks like the mother ship from Zeta Reticuli at night, I had a leo tell me that he would rather cycles be seen than have to shovel us off the highway...but if a cycle has blue lights and looks too "police-ish" he will ask the driver to turn them off.
As far as legal colors blue is always a 50 state nope, and if it flashes then that really upsets some leos and with due reason.
Will all leos pull you over for blue lit emblems? who knows depends on the leo but if they "want" a reason to pull you over this is a great one,
When the car is blue the glow will then do a odd cool blend and likely pass as white light show as blue on a blue car and I would guess you will never get hassled for it.
