Hi Bert,
The 2 to the left of center (blue and yellow with the tubular connectors) are pretty easy!
Regards,
Alan

Alan, in the bottom right corner of your second picture there is a relay. What is that relay for? And what color are the wires going to it? there isn't one on this car.

Hi Bert,
There are 2 relays mounted on that small bracket.
In 71 the engines had an emission control system called Combined Emission Control (CEC).
Those relays are part of the system and control a vacuum/electric solenoid on the carburetor that increases idle speed at certain engine operating temperatures and in other situations.
One is a 'reversing relay' and the other is a 'delay timer'.
I don't know whether your 73 has something similar that those wires may be connectors for.
Sorry I can't be of more help!
Regards,
Alan

The location of the wire, color and the connector says blower motor to me and my 74 manual.

76vette1,
Your reply made me think about something..the plug size on the orange wire is too big to be the fan. I just went out and looked and it is the plug on the side of the Trannsmission. the TCS switch. In this picture the purple is the fan motor feed with a/c, the small orange would be used on non-A/C cars and the larger orange plug matchs the TCS switch with size and offset of the plug.
Thanks for the input it made me snap that the plugs were different sizes.

Not sure about the color but those clips on the white wire looks like the ones that clip to the valve cover holding the wire to the idle solenoid.

The dbl orange/dbl tan is the trans kickdown switch per the manual.

I checked the "options" schematic and the blower wire changed from orange to purple.

The last one may be the vacuum advance solenoid.
