Default T-Top Rain Coat

Hi I am looking at getting a rain coat for my 76. I was wondering if anybody has any pictures of theirs installed. I heard that they are safe at high speeds. Also is the Velcro visible/ does it look bad? Here are the ones I am looking at. Any recommendations?

If it seals using Velcro, you would have to install some Velcro on the body of your car. Not something I would want to do.

Not a big fan of them. I picked up a new one for peanuts a few years ago on Craigs list.

No way I would stick that velcro across my stainless or paint.

Kind of tacky looking seeing it there with the top off. Plus how long before that adhesive lets go in the suns heat. All I would be thinking about is it flying off on to the windshield of the car behind me.

Stick with your t tops.

A few years ago I purchased a set of folding fabric T-Tops for my '76. They were made by A-M Tops (no longer made then or now). Does not use velcro for mounting, either front or rear. Almost identical metal latches as stock. Came with both fittings for mounting on either triangle or straight front mounting front pins, and vinyl bags. Watertight!

They fold to fit in my '76 storage compartment without taking up too much space. I carry them all of the time.

The ones I purchased I found on E-Bay. They were in excellent, like new condition. Price was, as I recall, was a little over $200. I did check out AstroTops as well as a couple of other manufacturers. Like you, I did not like the velcro mountings. It took a while to locate them, on E-Bay, but I would have rather waited, rather than purchased an Astro Top. One of the best purchases I ever made.
