Default I'm screwed help!!!

I need your expert opinion guys. These little scews broke off when takin apart my headlight assembly and I have no idea how to extract them. Do ya think they are threaded into the fiberglass? or is there metal in there under the fiberglass? I'm open to all ideas since I have none thanks

I thought I was also when mine did the same thing. After debating whether or not to take them to a machine shop. I grew a pair and drilled them out myself. not a big deal. Take your time and use the right size bit but need to smooth out the surface and hit with a center punch to keep the bit from walking. then I tapped it out. or use self tapper screw. Just take your time...

Terrible title for a thread, tells nothing about the problem, can't be searched, doesn't attract the correct person who may be able to help.

Try "Sears" ...they have a nice selection of extractors that should work for that...they come in kits...all the way down to micro screw extractors...good to keep in tool box for such a problem.... ( i have various size screw extractor sets and bolt extractor sets in my box)...price is not that bad and they usually have them on sale... :-)

I think the bigger problem may be the leak in your roof staining the ceiling tiles...

I prefer these-Left handed drill bits-

As you drill- it relieves the pressure and what's left comes out on the bit

Was going to be my suggestion too ..... I use left handed bits all the time at work . Half the time they end up working like Ease-outs .
Good luck .

Don't use self-tapping screws. Do it right and tap the thread. You may have to go to the next size thread larger. Another possibility if you have to go a little larger is to tap for a helicoil which would then allow you to use an original size screw but with a larger tap diameter.
