A couple years ago I switched to the lower temp fan switch on my 82 which necessitated in removing the original plug and like a dummy I didn't keep it. Well I have a aluminum radiator and are now running the original temp stat and never heats up but would like to have the security of an auxiliary cooling source so I want to go back to original. The problem is I can not find the plug in anywhere for the two prong switch. Anyone know where I can get one?
If you don't find a suitable plug, solder two female terminals on the ends of the wires and plug them into the switch.
Well I was going to do that but does it make a difference on what side the power is? I think being just a switch it's probably a bi-metallic band that bends under heat and makes the switch closed which then commands the fan to turn on. So it wouldn't or would it? That is just a guess though...
