Default 75 front end height

I know this has been discussed before and I've read the other post I'm just not following or not understanding.

My 75 front end is WAY high on the driver's left front, the passengers right rear is a little low (not as low as the front is high) the body mounts all look great. I've checked the spring and have taken it out and made sure it in right and that it's up in the spring tower groove.

I would say the left front sits about 1-1/2" high on that corner.

I'm besides myself, not to mention very frustrated to say the least.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

John

have you taken frame measurements to the ground and body measurements to the frame to determine if it is the frame not being level or the body is not level on the frame?

Checking this is IMPORTANT and you REALLY want to measure it on something FLAT....such as on a drive up alignment rack. Do not do it on the ground....even though ti may work....do yourself a FAVOR and do it on something that you know is FLAT...or you might get measurements that are not correct.

You have NOT confirmed that BOTH front springs are correct. There is a HIGH probability that the frame may be 'tweaked' or 'twist' and it may need to be set-up on a frame machine and measured out.

AND do not FREAK OUT if your car has to go on a frame machine. A GOOD frame guy can fix this.....because I know a lot about 'tweaked' or 'twisted' frames. There is also a BENCH...which is a frame machine that allows for special fixtures with attachments that allow the technician to position them and set their height so when the frame is set onto it....they line up with specific holes in the frame for measuring and you can see the frame being high, low, twisted, diamond-ed, etc.

Here is the machine...and I know the car is different and you more than likely would not need to go through all of that...but you can see how these attachments allow the frame to be set back to factory specs.
