Default Proportional Value Issues

I'm having issues removing the old proportional value mainly the rear hard line. I've hit it with PB blaster a few times but still won't break free. In fact the tail end of the valve came loosing making it now twice as hard to get off since I have to hold that in place while trying to get the brake line off.

At this point it's either replace the hard line or heat it up and hope that works. Now to my question, is there any issues heating up the lines/valve? The fluid will be replaced so I'm not worried about that. My worry is the SS hard lines expanding different than the brass proportional valve AND to be honest not sure if brake fluid will catch fire.

Counter intuitive. But try tightening it a little bit to see if you can get it to move, then loosen it.

Kroil seeps better than PB Blaster IMO as well, maybe squirt it with some of that...

Good Luck.

I got it off. Two wrenches and a ratchet strap pulling them together finally broke the hold.

Thank god that's done. Bench bleeding the master now.
