JR,
This one has been through the NCRS judging circuit. I would be very surprised if it's not on the list. I remember it from a meet years ago in Gettysburg, it judged quite well. The car did retain a lot of originality, along with some necessary maintenance along the way.
I remember the car well... Had around 9,000 miles when we judged it. Very original car... Only reason it would not Bowtie was the damage to the rear that was mentioned in the ad.
While it may not seem like it, $120,000 was an incredible bargain for that car... If the sale was legitimate.

It was a terrific bargain at that price! It was judged correctly! Odd ending to the auction....I have heard those last two thousand miles since it was judged were, let's just say tough on it.....

Hi WB,
I think I remember talking to this youngish owner while we were judging Operations and he related that he enjoyed looking for unsuspecting victims to play with along Rt. 15.
Do you remember that?

Alan

I agree with Stan. Whoever bought the it got a great car at a great price.
Alan Route 15, near Westminster MD? Funny I was just driving that way, picking my car up from Chuck at Mid-Atlantic Restorations. He did a good job on my car as well!

Jerry,
Can't seem to find the listing, so I haven't seen it yet.
Hi carb,
Rt. 15 passes about 25 miles from Westminster as it skirts Gettysburg.
Lots of small towns in Pa. along Rt.15 that were filled with car crazy guys years ago, and to some degree still are.
People generally seem to be quite pleased with the work Chuck does so what you report really isn't a surprise, just confirmation.
Regards,
Alan
