Custom center console

Do any of you have experience with them? I feel like the brake console and the center console with the two pieces that attach to cover the gauge bezel wiring just never fit 100%. I don't have much experience with fiberglass but I feel I could easily make one out of MDF board or PVC board and covering with pleather or something. This eliminate those pieces fitting together poorly and the only interior cuts needed would be the shifter plate and a slot for the brake lever.

I've seen it done plenty of times. Not very difficult just make sure you have enough slack in the wires if you are relocating anything

You can do some great stuff with the pvc board by heatng it up and getting some curves in it if that is the direction you end up going.
