Intermitten wipers 78-82

78, is it true that on all 78-82 with intermittent wipers, if the module fails, you have no wiper at all? I was on lectric Limited looking for something else and saw they have a replacement module which will still allow you to have wipers.

78 Corvettes have a separate wiring 'add-on' harness for the intermittent wipers. So...if the module goes bad...you can by-pass it by removing the wiring harness....and plugging in the connectors to the switch.
AND...if you buy the new module to get to get your wipers back to intermittent...YOU MUST HAVE the black plastic cover for your wiper motor that has the single pink wire coming out of it. IF you do not have this SPECIAL cover...your intermittent wipers WILL NOT WORK-----PERIOD!!!!!
