Default Interesting FI Install...

Picked up my C3 from the shop today and saw this system being installed on another C3.

EZ-EFI 2.0. More robust, higher HP limit and includes timing control vs the initial EZ EFI system, IIRC.

Quite a bit of cash being thrown at that thing considering the rest of the engine bay... also, brake master cylinder (at least the cap) doesn't look correct.

The shop said the FI kit cost $2700 plus the cost of the new manifold.

Sounds about right. I'm guessing it had the stock spread bore 4-bbl manifold and carb? $3k for parts. How much did the shop charge to plum?

It's the owner's choice, just doesn't make sense to me to dump that much $$ into a stock engine. But like I said - owner's choice.

EZ-EFI is standalone and at the price Tom quoted includes everything you need. Port injection is better for a lot of reasons, though.
