It's a metal accent trim kit inspired by the Porsche 911 Targa. Eckler's &/or Mid America used to carry that back in the day, but AFAIK it hasn't shown up in either catalog in a good many years. I'd wager the production run was pretty limited.

Thanks, that kinda confirms my thoughts as well. To bad, I like it. With the uptic in interest for the mid to late seventies C3s I personally hope they bring it back!
