HELP! 1969 C3 buying advice needed!
I've bought and sold numerous classic cars and I've yet to see a non working AC that just needs charging. A working AC can easily add $2k to $5k to the price of the car and the system can be charged for under $100. So if it was really as simple as just adding Freon it would have been done. Now I'm sure their are exceptions to this story, but I've never been lucky enough to find one that just needs charging. The AC system is the most expensive nonessential system to fix in a car. I always end up spending over $1000 to get them up and functioning correctly. YMMV
