If you have several areas of leakage, your tranny is probably very old and gaskets/seals are going bad. Also because of age, your INTERNAL seals and clutch plates are very worn.
If you want it done right, just pull the trans and have a reputable LOCAL trans shop rebuild YOUR transmission. Then it will be good for another 20+ years.
First, I would try to determine WHERE it is leaking. If it is only the pan gasket, shifter shaft seal and/or dip stick o-ring then it might be possible to stop the leaks without pulling the transmission. I respectfully disagree with the opinion that your clutch plates are "very worn". That would depend on mileage and whether the tranny has ever been rebuilt. Internal seals would also depend on whether it has been rebuilt.
