fan shroud seals

Default fan shroud seals
71 with 350/270 hp, a/c, with plastic radiator shroud. Have seals from paragon but no info where to place on shrould. P/O I believe at one time tried to remove shroud but only managed to remove the seals?? The two(2) long seals are different widths. Does the one with wider adhesive seal go on the bottom or the top. One has a narrow adhesive and the other is wider and both are the same length.
