My first c3!
Just like many of you, I wanted a Corvette since I was a kid. After years of putting off buying one for various reasons(bills) I decided to take the plunge! After months of looking and coming very close to buying several I happened to be talking to someone about their vette and he said he could find one for me… I was completely fine with paying finders fee and told him what I was looking for. After a week or so he sent me pictures of a beautiful Corvette. I emailed him right away I was interested and to call me, but unfortunately he emailed me that night saying it was sold
. That weekend I was looking all over on craigslist and was shocked to see the same exact picture of the car I had seen
. I called and the car was still for sale, apparently the guy tried to low ball the owner and make a bigger profit for himself, funny thing was is I would have paid it if he had not lied about the car being sold. Talked to the owner and worked out a deal(thanks to all of you for you help on this as well). She was born Nov 18, 1968! Thanks again everyone for all your help.Interesting side note... Got the car home in TX yesterday and showed it to someone this morning who was like "Hey can you drive that in our parade this morning?" So 1st full day ownership got to drive it in parade
