Hi,
That's quite sad.
I recently read David McCullough's new Wright Brothers book.
They realized the attraction and also the danger of flying right from the beginning.
In the early years they didn't fly together because they didn't want both of them to be lost in a single crash.
Regards,
Alan
It's a bi wing stunt plane, pretty much a thrill seekers toy.
Ths type thing used to really get to me... but I had ends meet on this type thing when Dale Earnhardt was killed at Daytona, I was in my 66 coming home to Orlando from Jacksonville traffic was way backed up people were going nuts I had my redneck car phone on channel 19 listening to truckers trying to learn what is the traffic issue, so I hear drivers talking about the most horrible thing in the world has happened Earnhardt got killed, then another driver chimed in and said something to the effect that while he was not all cold hearted and it was sad a fellow got killed the fellow was a grown man doing a high risk sport for high pay, a sport he chose to do because he loved doing it, the person died knowing the risks doing what they loved doing, the real victims are the loved ones left behind...that hit me deep and that it really summed it up well, so while I am sad a fellow passed my heart goes out to the people who loved him and will be forever devastated by his loss.
To everyone else, thank you for your kind words, prayers and anecdotes.
