Hi guys, I have a reocuring ignition problem, when ever I park on a non level surface the ignition doesn't seem to work it reacts as if the battery is dead. As soon a I connect to a boost it starts right up. I would like to know if there is some kind of level switch on the trannie or something else which might do this. Any suggestion would be appreciated. By the way I have a 69 coupe.

The level of the car has nothing to do with a starting problem. As being jumped always starts it I would suspect the battery terminal connections need to be cleaned to shiny lead, coated with NoCo, then fastened again. When battery terminals are oxidized the terminals will get warm to the touch and if they are getting warm its a dead giveaway the terminals are oxidized.
