Default Carlisle Question

New member here. In the process of restoring a 73 and of course need some parts. So for you guys in the know, is it worth waiting and buying stuff at Carlisle next month? Do they have any deals? I will mostly be buying new stuff from venders.

Not really any "deals" on new parts from the vendors but some of them offer free shipping or if you order ahead of time some will bring the parts to the show if they stock them. I do that sometimes. They may also offer a small discount calling it their "show price"

Okay here's my take. Paragon sell the side pipe covers and hardware in their catalog for $2500. I paid cash $2000. Coker Tires where I bought my red line tires who by the way I called a week before to see if they had my tire size and they said we bring many sizes. When I got there I went and asked and because of my call they brought 4. Cash deal saved $275. This year I will call Paragon the week before and ask that they bring a set of 2" side exhaust system. We'll see if they do. Cash talks!

Carlisle is alot of fun and yes you can find some parts but you have to work at it...the swap and sell area is huge! Worth the trip though for the experience if nothing else...

Welcome hamrad. Carlisle is a lot of fun.

What parts are you looking for? Like others have said, most of the vendors have "show" special pricing and free shipping or will bring the parts to the show if they know ahead of time. But the real fun for us with C3's is going thru the swap area and hunting for the parts.

And yes, cash on site talks, both for the swap area and the big vendors.
