Default '75 Numbers?

I do not believe my 1975 Corvette numbers match - but thought I should verify. Please let me know if anyone can help me out. It is a 1975 T-Top - L48 - Automatic transmission:
The VIN is: 1Z37J5S424961
The Engine number is: 15S424961 VO 22CHB

Any help would be appreciated.

From what you've written as far as your engine stamp with the partial vin and engine plant stamp, it looks correct to me. According to my book the CHB suffix indicates a 75 L48 350 with an auto transmission.

This is generally what "matching" means.

Thanks all - my Dad told me he thought the engine was replaced (I have had for about 2 years - he had for 10-15 years).
I finished a bunch of interior work on it recently and thought I should check - very happy to hear they match.
Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!
