Is there any cleaning procedure I should give to this part or make sure there is nothing built up inside it while I have it off? I will be replacing all of the lines. Car sat for a very long time. According to the service manual, it isn't serviceable.
Not knowing the year of car, but that does not look like a proportioning valve. Early C3s used these pressure differential switches to detect an imbalance between front and rear systems, then close a contact for the brake warning light. Works or it doesn't. Hardly a life safety issue.
