Hi Danny,
I too dropped the body with the core support in place, but not the radiator.
Because the radiator 'lays back' so much it's easy to hit it on the front of the engine. So you need to carefully protect the core.
BUT, it's also SOMETIMES difficult to get the radiator and shroud in place after the body's in place. It varies somewhat because various radiators and shrouds were used.
SO, there are various opinions on with/without the radiator.
