Best C3 Literature

Hey everyone,

I am in the beggining stages of finally getting a C3. What I'm wanting is a book that covers the C3 in depth, differences in model years in great detail.

See this thread for a list of recommended literature. Specifically, you might consider the "Corvette C3 Buyer's Guide 1968-1982" by Richard Prince.

I have the 68-82 restoration guide 2nd edition by Richard Prince
Highly recommend it if you are finatic about knowing specific details.

I agree only if you can find a copy for under $100; it's out of print. I've seen ridiculous prices on Amazon for a copy.

This is reasonably good:

Any of the Corvette coffee table history books will cover C3s.

I have the Richard Prince book and it is pretty good. There is also a book by Chuck Bizzarco or something like that . It is supposed to also be very good if you can find one. About $70 on EBay when it's around. Richard Prince also has a second edition out now.

Bizzoco's book is great but is '69 only.

I'd recommend M F Dobbin's book and the NCRS Judging Guide of the year that you are interested in. Most people buy the JG after they get a car, but forget how useful they are when purchasing.

Try the book Corvette 1968-1982 by Mike Mueller
