Transmission production numbers
Every search turns up the same, for 72....
Turbohydra.....14000
M21......1600
These are listed as options, thats only 16000 out of 26000 cars.
What about the other 10,000?
Were they m20's or th350?
Every four speed car says it is one of 1600 built, seems like there are a lot of 4 speed cars out there.
Any other info?

27004 total 72s - 1638 with M21 - 14543 with M40 equals 10823 72s with the standard M20 wide ratio four speed. You got the M20 if you did not order either of the two optional transmissions.
72 ATs were the TH400s.
