what's this cable for
while driving my '74 manual roadster a black sheathed round cable fell out of the dash bottom and tangled around the pedals. In the middle of the exposed length there is a round plastic coupling about 2" long that changes the length of the sheath by screwing CW or CCW. As I can't get under the dash I'd like to know what it does. Just use a tyrap and hold it up out of the way?
