Vintage Air
OK, Springtime is almost here. Time to get to work.
Plan is to install a vintage air system, and reseal the engine.
In the beginning.
I think someone use to park under a tree.
I plan the usual cleaning and painting of the engine bay.
But, so far, everything looks in good condition.
Have a Great Day,
Bill

Love the medallion! Yeah may have been under a tree. You will have it shipshape in plenty of time to enjoy the cruising season

Vintage Air Day 3
Let me start by saying, when I title this "Day 3", it just means I got some garage TIME.
Out with the OLD.
A little breathing room.
Started to add some of the vent adapters.
And the New Controls. (Not a Fun Job)
And looking like I made the Right decision.....
That might have Cut into My Summer.
Have a Great Day,
Bill

Empting Boxes
Update on progress, of resealing engine.
Dry down here.
I was impressed with the one piece oil pan gasket.
Top side looking dry also.
But, it is cleaning the garage of All those Boxes.
And I think it looks "Gooder" too.
Have a Great Day,
Bill

Belts and hoses
Belts and hoses, back in place.
I still need to change Cap and Wires.
And a little more detailing. (including painting master cylinder)
List of "resealing"
Oil pan gasket, I did have pump and rear seal standing by. But the rear main was dry, so aborted those, in favor of a new power steering pump.
Timing chain cover, including timing chain and balancer.
Water Pump.
Intake and valve cover gaskets.
Have a Great Day,
Bill

Beautiful engine compartment Bill!
Its amazing how much the Vintage Air system cleans up the engine compartment and leaves so much more room - looks like a non-A/C car in there now.

Well, That S*cked..................
Finished wiring the A/C, pulled another vacuum, for an hour. It held for half an hour, so I charged it.
Nice 41 degrees out of vents.............
EMPTY this morning.
Needless to say, the Hood did not make it back on, YET.
Have a Great Memorial Day,
Bill
