Default Valve covers

Lets see your valve covers. I have a set on mine that I like however the rocker arms hit the side. Looking for some different ones and need some ideas. Thanks!

Here are mine old school, not sure if I will only buff the edges and leave them black or strip and polish them, these are what many old motion and yenko type cars ran, dig the odd breathers.

On a side step do you like that type radiator hose I was thinking about running them....

if you put a nice set of Vortec heads on that car then you could use center bolt valve covers. Solve 2 issues at the same time... yes they come in chrome too.
Of course if you go with Vortec heads then you will need a new cam and lifters... Sounds like a good winter project.

You could just get some plain cast aluminum covers and then personalize them like I did.

I have full roller rockers that fit under a set of tall Billet Specialties aluminum valve covers that I had custom CNC engraved:

Yes, I really like those stainless steel hoses, very easy applications. I plan on doing the heater hoses the same way.

Well a bit boring I know, but I like the old L46 valve covers, so I bought Comp Cams 1416 rocker arms, that fit under std. valve covers.

I was going for kind of a factory look when I built my small block, completed this summer. These are Proform tall valve covers painted Chevy orange.
