I've never been a big fan of bubble tail lights. You can't beat the original lenses IMO.

Default $ Rear Bubble Lens for me

I swapped out the stock lights and went with 4 bubble lens mainly to increase the visible effect from the rear. Now all 4 lights are on for brakes and night running. I put 2 small LED lights underneath for backup lights.

They may fit, but i think they lack the character of the OEM. Your ride your choice. Still on a C3......so nice either way.

What kind of story do you want to hear? Bubble lenses are an aftermarket conversion. I happen to like them and have them on my 68 and my 80.

You do Mike, I never would have thought that of you,

Bubbles tail lights are perhaps the most widely used aftermarket conversion ever on a c3,
The look is different to stock but in no way ugly or "bubba"

Another thing is I feel in 69 gm dropped the ball going from two tail lights per side on a 68 to one per side with the silly backup light next to it for 69 and all c3's, now that looks "hack job" to me.

Two tail, brake turn lamps per side looks better and is safer.

So one cheap easy fix is the bubble tail lights and a quick simple rewire to have two tail lamps per side again,

Or if you like stock lights better get two tail lights lens per side.

Or the harder more pricey fix is like me I am running 67 caprice tail lights 3 lamps per side

I think Bubba got the bubble lens's right! I bought a set but never installed them. My car is pretty original.

Default Day time running lights too

Well not to make OEM's folks upset I even added day time running lights thru my front turn signals to help with being seen. Anything I can do to try and be seen and be safer I will do but still try and keep the original look of these C3s.

I wonder if they're legal everywhere. No reflectors in the lens like stock.

3 Lamps per side ?

Then I could use the old Cougar sequential flasher.

Just a Thought...................

I like them. Theyre a simple mod that can provide a subtle a custom touch to your ride.
Id probably get them but i dont believe that theyre available for a 74.

To me "bubba" is hack job the bubbles might not be a persons taste but are not hack jobs.

It must be a hard path to follow, keeping it 100% factory original things like no radial tires on some c3's crappy radios, etc etc but worse would be a cat who wants some mods perhaps a different color paint but cant have them because they are not factory correct, lifes way too short to settle.
