They are an aftermarket custom replacement lense..obviously some people like them and some people don't (not unlike any mod to a Corvette).
Corvettes, to many are all about personalization, these for some people help them accomplish that.

74 tail lights and the way they mount are one year only. It's my understanding the bubble kits will not fit stock 74s.

Cant' beat 4 bright brake led's and double turn signals for each side for my 1974!! I had no use for reverse lights anyway!!

I know they are bubble Led's. I purchased them from C Central. I am very satisfied with them. I believe they were about $160.00.
