My 1979
I only posted one pic of my car when I joined. I think I should put a couple more up just for fun.
When I got it I was unable to get a real good look at the frame. I was able to get enough of a look to tell it was ok. Today I got it on a lift and holy cow it is about perfect. Surface rust only, boy did I get lucky. The battery ground was clean as well. The doors are solid, surprisingly solid. I love this car!
The man who owned it before me had it under a cover for the last few years, he was getting to the point where he couldn't get in and out of it, understandable. He hoped that when he sold it, that it would go to a good home, and it found one. I have done lower control arm bushings on it, and it's getting new tires and exhaust next year. If the money keeps flowin, she's getting a cam and perhaps heads. Once I am satisfied with it mechanically, I think I owe it to the Corvette community to make sure it looks not only good, but great...so paint is on the list as well.
One thing that I find interesting...little kids LOVE THIS CAR!!! I get more thumbs-up from them than anyone...there is hope for America yet.

Good looking car. Your not kidding about kids liking the C3 corvettes just the other day at a fuel pump a kid about 10 came over and asked what kind of car it was, told him it was a Corvette and he responded With wow and ran to his dad yelling look at the corvette.

Beautiful as may be the chrome bumper C3s (I've owned a couple myself), IMHO it's awfully hard to beat a clean '78-79 with full PC aero kit in the looks department.
