j have a 78 corvette that's all original but somebody keyed it I hate the frosted blue and wonder if I change color it will affect the resale price of the car
Does it matter? You say you don't like the original color, but you bought the frost blue. I'm biased because I happen to like the color.
At resale time, about a third of potential buyers will not want the color change; a second third won't mind provided they like the color you choose. A final third will not know of the color change and will not know how to find the original color code.

It'll be a while before a color change will significantly affect the value of a 78 enough to worry about. You have two things to think about, what color do I like, and will the next buyer like it enough to buy it. Oh, yeah and a third thing, it will be more expensive to do a color change than a repair paint.
