keep old good year tires
78 gets new bf good rich p255 r60 next week. The goodyears are 20 plus ears old, I have a vibration at 60 mph and it is past time to change. I think I want to keep the old tires and find some cheap rims to mount to. Not that I want to ever use these old tires on the road but my car spends the winter in storage and I think I would like to put the old tires on it in storage so as to keep the new tires from getting flat spots. Anyone do this?
Any suggestions about where I could get really cheap wheels? If I go to a salvage yard any idea what other cars might have a 15 inch × 8 inch wheel?
