The front shims on my 77 look nothing like the shims I see on every website and video about front alighments. Mine look like thick pieces of metal rectangles instead of the thin u shape ones with the grip tab on the top.
I do expect some change in parts over 40 years but these don't even match anything iv seen
Are they front end alignment shims? Yes
Are they correct for your vette? No
Those shims have a 1/2" slot, Corvette shims have a 7/16" slot.
With they work? Yes

Here's a picture.
The shim on the right is, I believe, an original St.Louis shim, while the one on the left is a 'service replacement'.
Very slight configuration differences.
