Default Tri Power shielding help needed

My Distributor Shield is missing the Grounding tab that rivets to the box. (Makes contact with the Air cleaner).

I have a replacement, but I'm not sure based on the judging manual where it goes. There are 4 holes in the box. Anyone have one they can post a picture of (for a 68 Tri Power)

Thanks for any help

I'm curious too. My 69 L71 is the same way. I bought the car from the original owner in 1977. I'm "assuming" This is how tri power shielding is supposed to be.

Default Hello,

Yes, thank you for taking the time to post the picture. It is a big help. Is that the one from your car or is it by chance a part that you could sell?

Thanks

Sorry, not for sale. It's off the car right now because I just replaced the wiper motor, some day I'll get it back on. It just started getting below 90 degrees here is Phoenix, so I can work in the garage again.

Default distributor shield.

I got me a massive fan for those hot days. We had a dry dry summer. I am pretty lucky with the weather in Washington State. I really appreciate the pictures. I think the clip is the same for the quadrajet but simply upside down and bent backwards? I have a few extra boxes. I could try to do surgery and reverse one. But that spring steel is the problem and it might not take being bent back the other way

Thanks again, Terry
