Default Finally driving again!

After one year of getting my high school flame back into shape I got to drive her to work today! wooohooo

I parked in the "classic" portion of the work lot along with a nice 68? Cougar.

As I was showing the car to a friend I went to open the hood and the latch stuck. haha Figures.... another adventure there I guess. It was a bit awkward but oh well. heh

Anyway it feels good to be on the road again. I think I smiled once or twice despite the anxiety of waiting for something to go wrong. She ran great and even got a few waves.

I'm off to search the threads on unsticking hood latches.

Thanks 'gunner! The left hood latch cable mount broke so I was able to secure it from the outside and pop open the right side. After reading multiple advice posts on the subject of hood latches I am glad it was so easy.
Although after further inspection, at least on my 78, there appears to be two access holes in the wiper compartment for just such an event. I have a pop out plug on both sides that would make an emergency hood latch access relatively simple. if you studied the latch a bit first to learn how to disengage it from that position it should be fairly straight forward.

Less worried now about that happening again in the future.
