Compressor won't engage and I noticed on the back of the slide controls that there's one of the vacuum outputs doesn't have a hose attached. See pic. I couldn't find a loose one that was obvious for that post.
No power to the compressor might be low freon pressure. Try jumping the pressure switch to see if it runs. The thing with the green wires behind the hose center right in the pic. Don't leave it jumpered, tho. It's there for a reason.
That one fitting on the control is supposed to be blocked off, so just 4 vac lines.
Hard to see in MY pic but...........
bypassed the pressure switch and the compressor turned on right away.
now to find someone who can put some r12 in.

While the pressure switch and low freon is the likely culprit make sure the green wire has continuity. Use a multi meter set to Ohms. The green wire is easy to hit and stretch as you work in the engine compartmen which can break it inside the sheathing.
