My very first corvette I drove was a silver/silver 75 that was given to a friend of mine. I was hooked instantly and although it was a low horse L48 auto, it handled like nothing else I had driven. In my garage we installed a complete VBP touring suspension and new aluminum radiator and rebuilt carb. Rubber bumper or chrome bumper it's still a Corvette and a great value right now. In the future who knows what prices will do. One things for sure we all wish we would have bought that xxxx year Corvette when we could have. Now it's priced out of the comfort range.
