Default 72 convertible Fire damage

Folks,
I had a fire in the basement shop where many of my vette parts were stored. So the deck lid was wasted as well as the convertible top, all bumpers and the interior. What parts are specific to verts? Obviously the deck lid, but what interior parts? Is it possible to buy all new? Including the dash ?

Hi bb,
Almost all interior soft parts are available in reproduction.
There are some parts that are unique to convertibles like quarter trim panels and the rear carpet.
The problem with the reproduction parts is that very often the fit of the part isn't very good and some times the quality can be lacking too.
For that reason most people recommend using original parts when ever possible… but that may not be an option in your case.
If you're unsure about just what all the parts are a copy of the Assembly Instruction Manual clearly illustrates what parts are for a coupe and what parts are for a convertible.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
