Default Front Light Removal Tips

I want to remove a set of front lights from my 1972 Road Race Replica project car and I thought I would ask if there are any tips or tricks you might offer to assist me in doing this without damaging the lights or the body.

The angles don't always clear on these cars so I thought what the heck, lets ask for expert opinions.

If you are particularly good at this and want to teach how it can be done and live near 18045 I would be glad to pay you to teach me.

Thanks for your help and best regards,

David Howard

Good point of clarification Alan, thank you.

I am going to remove the front flip up headlights and housing. Sorry that I was not clear on this one.

These guys here to be specific, will be coming out so I can install fixed Lemans style lights.

Do you have access from the bottom? It's easier if you can drop them down, then out.

Tape the edges of the surround and the cover. I found that disconnecting the link knuckle and the actuator rod the assembly would "pancake" to a smaller size. That helped in removal from underneath as mentioned above.
