I believe the "Date Received" was the date the Corvette Order was received by the Chevrolet Central Office in Detroit.
I'd think that typically the customer or dealer would have written the order for the car a few days before that.
So maybe a few days before Christmas for your car?

I have the NCRS shipping report, but it lists only actual build date and delivering dealer. The 'date received' being prior to the holiday makes more sense now, in terms of actual build lead time with car being completed Jan 20th..

Sorry some Danish/English here, I mean the door production/trim plate, with the build date, in the left door pillar.
